Customized and guided trips to Costa Rica

This is one of the most visited areas in Costa Rica.  Its proximity to San Jose makes it an easy destination to reach by those short on time.  Two National Parks, Manuel Antonio and Carara provide great wildlife viewing opportunities.

Manuel Antonio National Park is a place with a beautiful indigo ocean.   Its wildlife includes the Whiteface monkeys swinging through the trees and the Howler monkeys communicating with the characteristic howling sound.   Sloths moving at the slow pace are abundant in this forest.

There are many trails to enjoy this park.   The Sendero Serrucho takes you to a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean.

The Carara National Park and its surroundings is a favorite of birdwatchers.  It has a large population of Scarlet Macaws.   Other birds include woodpeckers, herons, trogons, hummingbirds and parrots.  Among the mammals in the park are monkeys, coatis and sloths.

The Tarcoles River with a large population of crocodiles is the northern boundary of Carara National Park.
